I'm back!

I've been away from the blogging world for awhile, but today I was inspired to come back! My life is a little crazy lately. My days are filled with different responsibilities and I'm trying to focus and keep my feet on the ground.

I started working at a restaurant about two months ago called Luna Blanca Taqueria. It's just up the street and I really like the people I work with, which  makes it fun. Serving is a lot of work. A lot of HARD work. It's exhausting, especially with the other things I have going on.

I'm still working at SLAC. But during Voyeur this year I am not just a house manager, I'm in charge of subscriptions. It's awesome and I love it. Working at SLAC doesn't feel like work. It's fun, and I love working at a place I truly believe in. I love SLAC and the work it produces.

I also am in In The Heights at Hale Center Theatre Orem. When I heard that Orem Hale was doing the show I immediately subscribed to their actor email list. This show is one I've loved since I first heard it, then I saw it on Broadway and it was one of the most moving and powerful shows I've ever seen. And that still holds true to today. I had to audition. I didn't figure I'd get cast, because I'm not latina, but I had to try. I'm just so so so thrilled to be apart of it. I'm single cast in the ensemble and it truly is amazing so far. It's a lot of work. The music is hard, and the choreography is overwhelming. But this show is truly amazing. And worth all the sweat and tears. So far no blood haha. Also the people I'm getting to know so far are AMAZING. I'm already building fantastic bonds with people. To buy tickets click HERE!

Other than that I'm just trying to get settled into my new life-away from school. For awhile I was going to move to LA. Then I realized I don't want to do film, and as far as theatre goes, there's not a ton out there. Then I was set on New York. In September. The more I think about it the more I'm not ready yet. I might be ready in a year, but for now, I'm going to focus on life here. Saving money and being in as many shows as I can. And I'm also hoping for a full time job...so wish me luck on that! I'm feeling pretty good.
